[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Samsung will conduct public recruitment in the first half of 2024 and secure talent from the 11th.

Samsung announced on the 10th that it will open recruitment in the first half of this year from the 11th to secure talented people. The number of employees is likely to be around 10,000. There are 19 affiliated companies participating in public recruitment in the first half of the year, including Samsung Electronics, Samsung SDI, Samsung BioLogics, Samsung C&T, Samsung Life Insurance, Hotel Shilla, and Cheil Worldwide.

Applicants can apply to the company they wish to join through the Samsung recruitment website by the 18th. Afterwards, the online Samsung job aptitude test, GSAT (April), interview (May), and health examination will be conducted in order. For some jobs, such as software development and design, software competency tests and design portfolio reviews are conducted.

Samsung is the only major Korean group to maintain a public recruitment system for new employees since it introduced the public recruitment system for the first time in 1957.
