[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] NH Investment & Securities will purchase and retire its own shares for the first time in 13 years to strengthen its shareholder return policy.
NH Investment & Securities announced on the 12th that it has decided on a shareholder return policy that includes such information at its regular board meeting held on the 11th. NH Investment & Securities plans to buy about 4.17 million common shares and retire them. It is about 50 billion won. It has been 13 years since the company purchased treasury stocks worth 30 billion won in 2011 for the purpose of enhancing shareholder value and compensating employee performance. The acquisition of treasury stocks will be carried out through in-house purchase until June 11.
It also decided to pay a cash dividend of 800 won (850 won for preferred stocks) based on ordinary shares. The total amount of dividends is 280.8 billion won. It increased by about 14% compared to the previous year (245.8 billion won). The convening date of the regular shareholders' meeting is the 27th, and the dividend date is the 29th.
