[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Hotel Shilla CEO Lee Boo-jin will dispose of about 5 million shares of Samsung Electronics to pay inheritance taxes. It is worth about 410 billion won based on the closing price (78,900 won).
According to the Financial Supervisory Service's electronic disclosure on the 25th, President Lee signed a securities disposal trust contract with Hana Bank on Samsung Electronics shares held to repay loans on the 15th.
The number of disposed shares is 5,247,140 out of the total number of shares held (52,992,821 shares), and the contract period is from the 15th to the 22nd of next month. The final selling price has not yet been confirmed, but based on the closing price of the day, it is estimated to reach 413.9934 billion won.
