[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Korea Electric Power announced on the 4th that it received a notice of non-indictment from the Seoul Central District Prosecutors' Office regarding allegations of embezzlement related to former executives.
Prosecutors decided not to indict former CEO Ju Sang-hyun (formerly Ju Bok-won) and Mr. Hwang due to insufficient evidence, and Mr. Lee received a suspended indictment.
The company stated, "Regarding this matter, we are reviewing related procedures such as filing objections to allegations of non-indictment on some of the charges. We will disclose relevant information when decisions from investigative agencies regarding remaining issues are confirmed."
