[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] On the 19th, according to Hyosung Group, Vice Chairman Cho Hyun-sang met with Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia to discuss cooperation plans.
Vice Chairman Cho and Prime Minister Hun Sen held discussions in Seoul on the 17th, as Prime Minister Hun Sen visited Korea for the South Korea-Cambodia Summit.
During the meeting, Vice Chairman Cho introduced Hyosung's global network and successful investment cases in China and Vietnam to Prime Minister Hun Sen. He also mentioned Hyosung's world-leading products such as spandex, a fiber raw material, and polyester tire cords, a tire reinforcement material.
Currently, Hyosung exports tire cords, PET bottles, polypropylene, and ATMs to Cambodia. With overseas companies dealing in complete cars, automotive parts, and tires entering Cambodia, it is expected that Hyosung's business scale will further expand.
