Hyundai Rotem supplies railway vehicles to GTX-C line

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Hyundai Rotem made an announcement on the 22nd that it has signed a "basic supply contract for railway vehicles and second-tier signal devices for private investment projects" on the C line of the Great Train Express (GTX) in the metropolitan area.
The contract amount is 542.6 billion won. It is 15.1% of last year's sales. The contract period is until September 30th, 2028.
The GTX-C line departs from Deokjeong, Yangju and passes through Cheongnyangni and Samsung Station to Suwon Station. The goal is to be fully opened at the end of 2028.
So far, railway vehicles have been ordered for GTX A and C routes. Hyundai Rotem has won orders for both railway vehicles on the A and C lines.
