[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] BTS has officially denied reports claiming their participation in an upcoming Michael Jackson tribute album.
On August 5, BigHit Music, BTS’s agency, released a statement clarifying, "BTS has neither visited Grouse Lodge Studio in Ireland nor conducted any recordings there. The reports about BTS participating in a Michael Jackson tribute album are entirely untrue."
The agency continued, "We are taking necessary steps to prevent the spread of inaccurate information. We sincerely thank all the fans who continue to support and love BTS. We remain committed to fully supporting our artists and their activities."
The clarification comes after MJ Vibe, a fan community dedicated to Michael Jackson, reported on August 4 that BTS had already recorded a track for a tribute album featuring unreleased songs by the King of Pop. The post fueled excitement among fans worldwide, though it has since been proven false.
Meanwhile, BTS is preparing for a full-group comeback scheduled for the first half of 2026.
