[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] EBEST Investment & Securities will change its name to LS Securities.

eBEST Investment & Securities announced on the 29th that it will hold a regular shareholders' meeting at the Yeouido Post Tower in Seoul and deal with the issue of changing its name to LS Securities.

This measure is a follow-up to the change of the major shareholder of eBEST Investment & Securities from G & A Private Equity Investment Company (G & A) to LS Networks (000680). The Securities and Futures Commission, affiliated with the Financial Services Commission, approved the change in major shareholders of eBEST Investment & Securities at the end of last year.

If the agenda is approved at the shareholders' meeting, the company will change its name after revising its website.

Meanwhile, eBEST Investment & Securities proposed the appointment of Park Jong-hyun as an in-house director and Kim Jin-han as an outside director at the shareholders' meeting in addition to changing its name.
