[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] On Monday, SKC announced that its subsidiary ISC will absorb ITMTC, a semiconductor electronic components manufacturer wholly owned by ISC.
The merger will be executed at a 1:0 ratio, meaning ISC will remain the surviving entity, while ITMTC will be dissolved. Since no new shares will be issued in this non-capital-increase merger, ISC’s major shareholder structure will remain unchanged.
ISC, which SKC acquired in 2023, is a global semiconductor test solutions provider, specializing in test sockets used to evaluate the electrical properties of semiconductor chipsets. As semiconductor manufacturers enhance packaging technologies to improve chipset performance, demand for test sockets, a critical consumable in semiconductor post-processing, continues to rise.
