The Esports World Cup (EWC), organized by the Esports World Cup Federation, is the largest esports tournament in the world and will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from July 3 to August 25, spanning eight weeks. The total prize pool is $60 million (approximately 82.8 billion KRW), the highest amount in the history of esports tournaments.
The EWC consists of two main events: the 'Game Championship,' which determines the champion team for each individual title, and the 'Club Championship,' which aggregates the performance of teams across different titles to crown the best esports team in the world.
Among the 21 titles featured in the 'Game Championship,' Krafton will participate as the sole Korean game developer. Additionally, Krafton's PUBG: Battlegrounds and Battlegrounds Mobile have been selected as titles for this tournament, showcasing the strength of K-games on the international esports stage.
