POSCO Future M Injects 490 Billion KRW into GM Joint Venture for Cathode Plant in Canada

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] POSCO Future M announced on Sunday that it will invest 489.4 billion KRW in its Canadian subsidiary, POSCO Future Materials, through a shareholder allocation capital increase.
POSCO Future Materials, a 100% subsidiary of POSCO Future M, has partnered with General Motors (GM) to establish the joint venture "Ultium CAM."
The company is currently constructing a high-nickel cathode materials plant in Québec, Canada, with an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons.
