Almac has signed a supply contract worth 168.5 billion won with SK On-Ford joint venture

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] Almac, a KOSDAQ market-listed company, said on the 25th that it has signed a contract with Blue Oval SK to supply secondary battery module cases for electric vehicles worth 168.5 billion won. Blue Oval SK is a U.S. local corporation jointly invested by SK On and Ford in the U.S.
This contract is close to 80% of Almek's annual sales of 216 billion won last year. Almac will deliver the products in order from 2026 to 2030.
Almac entered the KOSDAQ market last June. It is focusing on developing and producing secondary battery module cases, pack frames, and electric vehicle platform frames. It is focusing on applying 'Crash Alloy' technology, which creates ultra-precision extrusion technology and safety functional materials developed for the first time in Korea, to its products.
