Netflix Series 'The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call' Boosts Actor Ju Ji-hoon and Blitzway Studio's Stock

[Alpha Biz= Kim Sangjin] The Netflix series The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call has become a major hit, and attention is now turning toward the lead actor Ju Ji-hoon and his agency, Blitzway Studio (Blitzway), as investors show increasing interest. Ju Ji-hoon is a significant shareholder in Blitzway.
According to the Korea Exchange on Saturday, Blitzway's stock surged by 25% shortly after the market opened on January 31, reaching 2,000 KRW. The stock closed at 1,612 KRW, a modest gain of 0.75% (12 KRW) from the previous session. However, trading volume skyrocketed, surpassing 400,000 shares, more than 20 times the previous day's volume, indicating strong investor interest.
Blitzway is an entertainment agency with several well-known actors on its roster, including Ju Ji-hoon, Jeon Woo-hee, Jung Ryeo-won, Ko Du-shim, Jeong Ji-hoon, Kim Min-seon, Park Ha-seon, and So Yi-hyun.
As The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call continues to perform well, the attention has shifted to Blitzway, where the influx of buying interest is seen as a result of the series' success.
According to FlixPatrol, an OTT ranking site, The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call surpassed Squid Game on January 29 to rank second globally in the TV show category. The series also topped the Netflix charts in South Korea immediately after its release on January 24 and maintained its position at number one for six consecutive days.
The show has ranked first in 19 countries, including South Korea, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Honduras, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Qatar, El Salvador, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, and Venezuela.
