[Alpha Biz= Kim Sang Jin] Global K-pop group BTS has kicked off its North American tour, beginning in Tampa, Florida.
According to BigHit Music on April 26, BTS will perform at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa on April 25–26 and April 28 (local time) as part of its world tour “Arirang.”
Following Tampa, the group will visit 12 cities across North America, including El Paso, Mexico City, and New York, for a total of 31 performances. This marks BTS’s first U.S. concert tour in four years since their Las Vegas shows in April 2022.
Local media have highlighted the tour’s significant economic impact. FOX 13 Tampa Bay is airing a special program titled “K-Pop: The Seoul Reach,” while 10 Tampa Bay News reported that the Tampa concerts alone could generate between $800 million and $900 million in economic activity for the region.
The tour is expected to deliver a substantial boost to local economies across the cities on the itinerary.
