HD Hyundai Electric, a South Korean company, has secured a transformer order worth 821 billion won from National Grid, a UK-based power system operator.

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] HD Hyundai Electric announced on the 29th that it has signed a contract to supply 400 kilovolts (KV) and nine 275KV transformers to the UK National Grid and receive 82.1 billion won.
The contract size is 3.04% of HD Hyundai Electric's annual sales last year.
The term of the contract is until October 29, 2027.
