Binggrae President Kim Dong-hwan Faces Trial for Assaulting Police Officer While Intoxicated

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Kim Dong-hwan, the eldest son of Binggrae Group Chairman Kim Ho-yeon, has been indicted for obstructing official duties by assaulting a police officer while intoxicated.
The Seoul Western District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 21st that Kim, who serves as a president at Binggrae, was charged without detention on the 14th.
Kim is accused of causing a disturbance while intoxicated at an apartment complex in Ichon-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, on June 17. When police officers arrived in response to residents' complaints and attempted to escort him home, Kim allegedly assaulted one of the officers, questioning, "Why should I be taken away?"
