Krafton Announces Investment in Indian Fintech Company Cashfree Payments

[Alpha Biz= Kim Sangjin] Krafton announced on Wednesday that it has invested in the Indian fintech (financial technology) company, Cashfree Payments.
Cashfree Payments raised a total of $53 million (approximately 77.6 billion KRW) in an investment round led by Krafton.
Founded in 2015, Cashfree Payments is a leading fintech company in India’s payment market, providing technical services that support payment collections, disbursements, external payments, and one-click payments for businesses.
Currently, the company collaborates with over 800,000 businesses, and its annual transaction volume reaches $80 billion.
With this investment, Krafton plans to explore innovation in India's gaming and digital industries in partnership with Cashfree Payments.
