[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] CJ Group and Shinsegae Group are teaming up for comprehensive collaboration. The calculation is to enhance competitiveness by integrating services from distribution and logistics to membership and content.
On the 5th, CJ HumanVille announced that CJ Group and Shinsegae Group held a "CJ-Shinsegae Business Partnership Agreement Signing Ceremony." The leadership of both groups agreed to comprehensive cooperation in online and offline distribution, logistics, content, and more, signing a memorandum of understanding.
As a result of this MOU, CJ and Shinsegae are embarking on logistics collaboration. The first visible collaboration will be between G Market and CJ Logistics. CJ Logistics' "0-NE" service will be introduced to G Market. With the introduction of the 0-NE service, the order time for G Market will be extended. Previously, orders had to be placed by 8 p.m. for next-day delivery, but now orders placed by midnight will be delivered the next day.
G Market and CJ Logistics plan to expand arrival guarantee service cooperation to sellers as well. Sellers who agree to the arrival guarantee model will receive various promotional benefits. Sellers can increase sales, and customers can receive more products quickly. The two companies plan to launch the collaborative service as early as July.
