[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] According to the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety on the 21st, Hanmi Pharm was suspended for three months after it was found to have provided 1.5 million won worth of economic benefits to medical institutions for the purpose of inducing the adoption and prescription of eight general and specialized drugs in November 2018.

The suspension period is from 22nd to June 21st. Paracaine Eye Drop 0.5% (proparacaine hydrochloride), which is a drug subject to reporting of suspension of production, import, and supply, was fined KRW 4.05 million instead of disposal.
