[Alpha Biz= Reporter Paul Lee] OB Beer announced on the 12th that it recorded sales of 1.5,500 trillion won and operating profit of 2,348 billion won last year. Compared to the previous year, sales and operating profit fell 0.6% and 35.1%, respectively.

Net profit for the same period fell 36.6 percent to 1,535 billion won.

OB Brewery explained that its performance was sluggish due to the burden of increased costs such as raw materials, increased marketing costs such as advertising, and the worsening business environment caused by the long rainy season and heavy rains in the summer.

In fact, last year, OB Beer's advertising advertising expenses increased by 13.3% to 1,246 billion won.
