[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] China's routes are reviving amid brisk international passenger operations, a report showed.
According to Daishin Securities on the 12th, total aircraft operations at Incheon International Airport continued to recover 31,805 times last month, up 103.8% from the same month in 2019 and 50.6% from a year ago. The average daily number of flights was 1,097, an increase even though the number of business days was smaller than January.
In particular, passenger traffic between Korean Air and Asiana Airlines, a large airline (FSC), has increased significantly due to the recovery of the Chinese route. Korean Air's international passenger transportation rose 94.2 percent from the same month in 2019 to 1.331 million and Asiana Airlines rose 89.7 percent to 856,400.
