SK On to Supply $2.5 Billion Worth of EV Batteries to Nissan's US Plant

[Alpha Biz= Kim Jisun] SK On is reportedly set to supply Nissan's US automotive plant with electric vehicle (EV) batteries worth 2.5 trillion KRW ($2.5 billion). The timing of the contract is still under discussion.
According to reports from the Nikkei newspaper on the 23rd, SK On has recently agreed to supply 20 gigawatt-hours (GWh) of batteries to Nissan's US plant.
20 GWh is enough to power approximately 300,000 electric vehicles.
In response, SK On stated, "We are in discussions with our customers regarding new orders."
