[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] Baedal Minjok plans to introduce a subscription model similar to Coupang Eats, where members of "Wow Membership" receive free delivery benefits upon paying a monthly fee of 3,990원.

Last year, Baemin achieved its highest-ever performance with sales of 3.4155 trillion won and operating profit of 699.8 billion won. Over 80% of last year's operating profit was distributed as dividends to its German parent company, Delivery Hero.

According to recent announcements on Baemin's dining platform, starting from August 20th, benefits such as free economical delivery and discounted single household delivery fees will only be available to members of "Baemin Club." Membership currently offers promotional enrollment at 1,990원 per month, which will later transition to 3,990원.

Baemin Club aims to expand benefits beyond food delivery, integrating with B-Mart, Baemin Store, and other commerce services, as well as partnering with other companies to offer diverse perks.
