[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Minyoung] On April 4th, according to Newsis bullets were discovered in the luggage of a Korean Air flight attendant preparing to board a Bangkok-bound flight at Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 around 7:30 AM on April 2nd.

The 7.62mm bullet was detected during security screening at Incheon Airport, prompting the response of the Military Police Command, the Incheon Airport Explosive Ordnance Disposal Unit, and the Incheon Airport Police. They secured the bullet from the scene.

During police questioning, the flight attendant reportedly stated that the bullet was something they had picked up during childhood and inadvertently placed in their bag while packing to move.

The police allowed the flight attendant to depart on their international flight first, with plans to investigate further upon their return to Korea.

This incident follows a similar discovery of bullets aboard a Korean Air flight in March, and another incident last March where bullets found on board were not immediately reported to senior staff."
