[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Sangjin] Lunit, in partnership with its subsidiary Volpara Health, will supply breast cancer screening AI solutions to the large-scale imaging diagnostic platform company, Resolute.

On the 29th, Lunit announced that it, along with Volpara, has delivered the 'SecondRead AI' solution to Resolute. SecondRead AI is an integrated AI solution for breast cancer screening, based on Lunit’s 2D mammography AI analysis solution, 'Lunit Insight MMG', and the 3D breast tomosynthesis AI analysis solution, 'Lunit Insight DBT'.

Resolute will use the SecondRead AI solution for analyzing over 300,000 medical images annually across more than 40 imaging centers it operates throughout the U.S. It also plans to expand the use of SecondRead AI to over 60 clinics connected to these centers. With the AI solution fees paid by patients rather than hospitals, Lunit anticipates a significant increase in profitability.
