[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Apple is gearing up to launch its next generation M4 processor. As Apple is trying to regain the leader of innovative technology title, the success of the launch is getting all the attention from the market.
According to Alpha Biz coverage, Apple has finalized its selection of advanced packing suppliers for the new processor. The suppliers are Amcor, ASE Technology Holdings, and STATS CIPPAC KOREA.
The individual who is familiar with the company’s internal matters told Alpha Biz “ Apple has selected Amcor, ASE Technology Holdings, and STATS CIPPAC Korea as its M4 processor suppliers. The company is in process of finalizing the order allocation rates: 50%, 30%, and 20%.
Three suppliers will apply 3D packing, which integrates CPU, GPU, and DRAM, for M4 processor production. The companies in the article declined to comment, “We cannot discuss or share any information about the customers’ order.”
