According to the travel industry on the 9th, IMM Private Equity, the largest shareholder of Hana Tour, has recently begun the process of selecting the organizer for the sale of its 27.78% stake.
IMM became the largest shareholder in December 2019 by acquiring a 16.68% stake in Hana Tour for 128.9 billion won as a third-party paid-in capital increase. Since then, he has been struggling with COVID-19 bad news The performance has been improving recently.
Sales reached 411.6 billion won last year, up 258% from a year earlier, and operating profit reached 34 billion won, successfully turning into a surplus for the first time in four years. The number of package senders in the first quarter rose 105% year-on-year to 582,000, which is 60% of 2019 before the COVID-19 incident.
