[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Samsung Electronics will reassign approximately 700 employees from its Network Division, which operates the telecommunications equipment business, to other divisions.

According to industry sources on the 18th, Samsung Electronics distributed a workforce adjustment plan to its employees on the 14th.

The plan states that employees dispatched to the Network Division will return to their original divisions, such as the Wireless Business Division and the Visual Display Business Division. Additionally, some employees who joined the Network Division will be transferred to other divisions through the 'Job Posting' system.

Last month, Samsung Electronics surveyed employees in the Network Division to identify volunteers for reassignment.
