Doosan Bobcat's operating profit fell 11.8% year-on-year to 326 billion won in the first quarter

[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] Doosan Bobcat announced on the 29th that its operating profit in the first quarter of this year was 326 billion won, down 11.8% from the same period last year. Sales fell 0.4 percent to 2.3946 trillion won over the same period.
Doosan Bobcat analyzed that operating profit decreased due to increased promotion costs.
In terms of dollar-based sales by product, small equipment for construction, agriculture, and landscaping decreased by 1% year-on-year, industrial vehicles decreased by 16% due to delayed purchase of equipment due to high interest rates, and deferred demand for portable power decreased by 16%.
By region, it decreased by 2% in North America, 14% in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), and 6% in Asia, Latin America and Oceania (ALAO).
