The industry explains that Hanwha Group cannot intervene in the operation of Daewoo Shipbuilding because it has not yet completed the acquisition of Daewoo Shipbuilding. Daewoo Shipbuilding said the LNG ship contract has yet to be signed and negotiations are underway.

On the 18th, Trade Wins, a shipbuilding and shipping magazine, reported that the new construction contract for two LNG carriers ordered by Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering has entered a "hold" state. Some contracts have stopped as Hanwha Group, the new owner of Daewoo Shipbuilding, began to closely examine the contracts signed by Daewoo Shipbuilding. He noted that the contracts that entered the suspension stage were a total of two LNG carriers ordered by Marangas in Greece and MOL in Japan, respectively.
