[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] On the 2nd, Ecopro announced that it recorded a consolidated operating loss of 29.8 billion won in the first quarter of this year, marking a deficit compared to the same period last year.
Sales decreased by 50.6% year-on-year to 1.206 trillion won. The net loss amounted to 42.5 billion won, turning into a deficit.
An Ecopro official attributed the performance deterioration to the slowdown in the electric vehicle secondary battery industry.
