[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] LG Electronics has completed the construction of a production line for the electric vehicle charging solution business, which is the next-generation food. From research and development (R&D) to marketing and sales, we are also recruiting a large number of professionals.

LG Electronics recently built an electric vehicle charger production line in LG Digital Park, Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province. It will start operation as early as the first half of this year.

LG Electronics' electric vehicle charger production line is a conversion of a smartphone manufacturing plant used by its previous mobile (MC) business headquarters. Annual production capacity has not been disclosed. It is said that it is in the early stages of business and plans to gradually increase due to the nature of business-to-business (B2B) produced after ordering.

As LG Electronics aims to start its business as early as the second quarter, marketing and sales are expected to begin in earnest soon. LG Electronics has decided to target shopping malls, hotels, and public institutions first. The solution will be introduced at the world's largest display exhibition 'ISE 2023' to be held later this month.
