[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The three mobile carriers will provide free mobile data for one month in March with the aim of participating in stabilizing people's livelihoods. Free data is only available until the 31st of next month.

According to the mobile telecommunication industry, SK Telecom and KT will provide 30GB of free data without a separate application process, and LG U+ will provide the same amount of basic data included in the subscription plan.

In addition to the basic data of the plan for 3G, 4G (LTE), and 5G smartphone subscribers aged 19 or older, SK Telecom and KT will provide 30GB of free data that can be used until the 31st of next month. The number of subscribers who benefit from this benefit is estimated to be about 20 million from SK Telecom and about 10 million from KT.

SK Telecom provides 30GB for tethering and data sharing to subscribers of unlimited data plan. KT doesn't have much benefit.

LG U+ provides twice the amount of data provided by existing plans without age restrictions. LTE·5G unlimited plan subscribers or customers with more than 100GB plan can receive additional tethering data as much as the basic amount. However, a separate application is required to use additional data. LG U+ customers can register by accessing the Internet link (URL) delivered by text message (MMS).
