[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] NCsoft announced on the 22nd that it has signed a global publishing contract with Amazon Games for its new multi-access role-playing game (MMORPG), TRONE AND LIBERTY’ (TL).

The sales and supply areas of TL under the publishing contract are North America, South America, Europe, and Japan. The contract amount is more than 2.5% (about 57.7 billion won) of consolidated sales of 2.3088 trillion won in 2021.

TL is a new intellectual property (IP)-based MMORPG that will be introduced in 11 years since "Blade & Soul" released by NCsoft in 2012, and will be released simultaneously around the world as an PC· console platform in the first half of this year.

Amazon Games is a game division of US IT· distributor Amazon, introduced its own MMORPG 'New World' in 2021, and was in charge of publishing the global edition of Smilegate's MMORPG 'Lost Ark' last year.
