[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] KT's board of directors narrowed down the list of candidates for the next CEO to four former and incumbent KT officials on the 28th. Contrary to expectations that political figures will be strong, the next leader will be elected from among KT executives.

The board of directors of KT said, "A selection advisory group composed of five external experts has selected a total of 33 candidates to four after verification."

Those selected as candidates for CEO are four candidates: Park Yoon-young, former head of KT's corporate division (president), Shin Soo-jung, head of KT's enterprise division (vice president), Yoon Kyung-rim, head of KT Group's transformation division (president), and Lim Heon-moon, former president of KT Mass (president).

The four CEO candidates selected on this day will undergo an interview screening, and the final candidate will be confirmed on the 7th of next month.
