[Alpha Biz= Reporter Kim Jisun] CJ Korea Express will be in charge of Korea logistics of China's e-commerce platform Ali Express again over the next year.
According to industry sources on the 13th, Ali Express recently signed a logistics contract with CJ Logistics to select Hanjin, Lotte Global Logistics and post office parcels as domestic last mile consignment companies.
Although the portion of supplies to be shared by existing companies has not been disclosed, CJ Logistics is still expected to take more than half of them. The existing contract method, in which the rest will be shared by Hanjin, Lotte Global Logistics, and post office parcels, will also be maintained.
Ali Express entered the Korean market last year and signed a private contract with CJ Logistics, the No. 1 courier company.
In the meantime, CJ Korea Express has handled 80% of Ali Express's domestic deliveries and the rest has been handled by Hanjin and others.
