[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Online simple payment fees imposed by nine operators, including Naver Financial and Kakao Pay, have been unveiled for the first time.

The payment commission rate of Woowa Brothers (Baemin) was 3.00% in all sections (small, small and medium-sized 1, small and medium-sized 2, small and medium-sized 3, and general) based on prepaid electronic payment methods, the highest among the nine companies subject to disclosure. 

 

SSG.com and Coupang Pay followed with a commission rate of 2.50% for all sections. The average commission rate for prepaid payments by nine companies was 2.00% (small) to 2.23% (general).

On the 31st, the Financial Supervisory Service collected the payment fee rates announced by simple payment operators and made the announcement.

The Woowa Brothers also had the highest card payment commission rate among the nine operators. It charged 1.52% for small merchants and 3.00% for general merchants.

Among the nine operators, Naver Financial had the lowest commission rate of 0.91% for prepaid electronic payment methods imposed on small merchants. It was followed by Tosspay (1.01%), NHN Payco (1.71%) and Kakao Pay (1.84%).
