[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] HD Hyundai Group's labor union plans to push for joint negotiations on wages and collective bargaining, which were canceled last year, again this year.

As Hyundai Steel's labor and management suffered a strike in the process of pushing for joint negotiations in a similar way last year, the wage and collective agreement affiliated with HD Hyundai Group is unlikely to be smooth.

According to the shipbuilding industry on the 16th, five companies affiliated with HD Hyundai Group (HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, Hyundai Samho Heavy Industries, Hyundai Mipo Dockyard, Hyundai Electric and Hyundai Construction Machinery) will hold a joint press conference at the Global R&D Center (GRC) in Seongnam on the 17th. 

 

In addition, they plan to deliver the joint request for wage and collective agreement to HD Hyundai and Korea Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering in 2023.

These unions are expected to raise the basic salary by 184,900 won, form a joint bargaining TF (task force), and carry out new recruitment.
