[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Kakao Pay announced on the 17th that it will introduce a Kakao Pay card payment system within the Apple App Store from March 20 and hold a launch discount event for the month of April.

According to Kakao Pay, existing app store payments were only possible with 'Kakao Pay', a method of charging and using in a financial account connected to Kakao Pay.

The introduction of the system allows users to pay through cards registered as Kakao Pay payment methods, including prepaid and direct payment cards, "Kakao Pay Card" and "Kakao Pay Credit Card," with the newly introduced Kakao Pay card payment service.

Users who want to use it can enter the Payment and Delivery tab in the settings, press "Add Payment Method" and select "Kakao Pay" as a payment method. If you agree to the authentication linked to KakaoTalk, the Kakao Pay card will be registered as a payment method without complicated registration procedures.
