[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong is finalizing his schedule to stop by Silicon Valley during his U.S. business trip that runs through the middle of next month to meet with Apple CEO Tim Cook and Google CEO Sundar Pichai.

According to industry sources on the 20th, Chairman Lee will leave for the U.S. as early as this weekend to accompany President Yoon Seok-yeol's state visit to the U.S. Chairman Lee's business trip to the United States is reportedly scheduled for the second week of May (10-16). Chairman Lee's next trial will be held on May 26, so there is no obstacle to his long-term business trip to the U.S.

In the early stages of his visit to the U.S., he will be scheduled as a member of an economic delegation. It plans to support the intergovernmental negotiations on the US Semiconductor Support Act and deliver the situation of Samsung to the US government officials.
