[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Hyundai Motor has begun developing 'IONIQ 6 N (Project Name CE N)', which performs at the level of a supercar. The IONIQ 6 N, which will be Hyundai Motor Group's first sedan-type high-performance electric vehicle, is a hidden card that will win the world's high-performance electric vehicle market, especially in China.

According to the industry, Hyundai Motor has launched a IONIQ 6 N mass-production development project that adds high-performance electrification and driving technology based on its exclusive electric vehicle IONIQ 6.

Hyundai Motor drew attention at the Hyundai N-Day event in July last year by introducing its concept car "RN22e," which presents a vision for electricizing high-performance N-brands.

It is heard that Hyundai Motor's top management, who judged that RN22e has a good chance of success, has recently officially approved the mass production vehicle development project.
