[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] LG CNS announced on March 3 that it has obtained Microsoft's 'Customized Security Service (MSSP)' partner. 

 

Prior to this, LG CNS also conducted TMM (Top Management Meeting) with Microsoft to expand its AI and cloud-based DX businesses. LG CNS will pursue all-round business cooperation with Microsoft through acquiring MSSP partner status with TMM.

Based on cooperation with Microsoft, LG CNS promotes diverse collaboration such as generative AI, security architecture design, customized detection and response (MDR) platform, and strengthening cloud security business.

LG CNS designs and builds a security architecture for generative AI such as ChatGPT based on Microsoft Azure Open AI Service (Azure OpenAI Service). The company explained that it wants to use generative AI but is a troubleshooter for companies that hesitate due to data leakage. LG CNS analyzes customers' business environment and IT systems to define elements that need security, design and build architectures to present a customized security environment. This allows customers to prevent sensitive data from being exposed to the outside while getting the information they need with generative AI.

LG CNS also uses Microsoft solutions to develop the MDR platform. MDR refers to analyzing, discovering and responding to threats in advance. Previously, it was a follow-up method to deal with threats after they were detected. LG CNS utilizes existing security control solutions such as endpoint detection response (EDR) 4 and network detection response (NDR) 5 for MDR development. 

 

It is newly upgraded by combining DX technologies such as AI, big data, and automation, which are the strengths of LG CNS and Microsoft. Based on the MDR platform, LG CNS plans to implement a safe business environment for customers by providing services covering security threat monitoring, intrusion analysis and response system, and vulnerability management and prevention.
