[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Samsung Display's labor and management agreed to an average wage increase of 4.1% this year.

According to the related industry on the 7th, Samsung Display recently announced this on the in-house bulletin board. The basic increase rate for this year is 2% and the average performance increase rate for each individual is 2.1%.

The average wage increase rate means the growth rate of the total annual salary resources paid to all employees. It is determined by adding the increase rate by individual performance to the basic increase rate. The level of individual wage increase may vary depending on the performance.

Samsung Display will introduce 'Monthly Day Off' and 'Healing Point', a cashable welfare point, for the first time this year. The monthly holiday is a system that allows you to take a day off a month if you fill eight hours of non-fixed working hours within a month. Healing points are worth about 1 million won and can be used for vacation of executives and employees, such as travel and leisure.

Samsung Display's tentative agreement between labor and management is 4.1% of this year's average wage increase rate (basic increase rate of 2% and performance increase rate of 2.1%) agreed upon by Samsung Electronics' labor and management. Samsung Electronics' wage negotiations are known to be applied as a kind of 'guideline' to affiliates.
