KT Cloud "attracting investment of 600 billion won ... Decision on paid-in capital increase"

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] KT Cloud announced on November 11 that it has invested 600 billion won from IMM Credit & Solution (ICS), the largest domestic cloud operator.
KT Cloud announced its decision to increase capital by issuing investment on the same day. It issues 2,656,808 shares according to the board's decision.
According to KT Cloud, IMM Credit & Solution is a private equity fund (PCF) operator established in 2020 and operates assets worth about 1.2 trillion won.
IMM Credit & Solution assessed that KT Cloud has achieved stable revenue generation and growth by simultaneously carrying out private data center (IDC) and cloud business.
KT Cloud plans to strengthen its competitiveness in its cloud business, including AI cloud, and plans to supply additional data centers of more than 100MW (megawatt) within the next 3∼5 years and achieve 2 trillion won in sales in 2026.
In addition, it added that it is considering expanding various global IDC businesses, including IDC entry in Southeast Asia.
