[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] It has been confirmed that there is a movement to establish a union within Samsung BioLogics. Recently, some employees reported the establishment of a labor union to the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
According to the industry today (11th), some employees of Samsung BioLogics submitted a "report on the establishment of a labor union" online to the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
An employee who pushed for the establishment of the union also officially posted a message on the board run by Samsung BioLogics that he would recruit the union's executive branch.
The employee directly disclosed his affiliation and name in the company and informed the purpose of the union's establishment and the recruitment of the union's executive branch.
"The labor union of Samsung BioLogics is aimed at all executives and employees regardless of their job or job, and not in a way that only members will benefit, and we are trying to form a single union without a higher-level organization," the employee said.
Before recruiting members in earnest, it is said that the executive branch will be formed with about 5 members.
Currently, the union executive recruitment post has been deleted at the company level.
"The in-house bulletin board is a space prepared by the company for smooth in-house communication between the company and its executives and employees, and is a communication channel that shares opinions on improving the grievances and inconveniences of executives and employees," said Samsung BioLogics' Labor-Management Cooperation Group. "The post was deleted because it did not meet this purpose."
