[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Emro, a supply chain management software company, achieved record-high sales and operating profit in the first quarter, achieving both external growth and strengthening internal stability.
Emro announced on the 15th that its operating profit recorded 1.1 billion won in the first quarter, up 78.2% from a year earlier. Sales rose 6.7 percent to 14.3 billion won over the same period.
In particular, technology-based sales (software licensing, technology fees, and cloud service fees) with high profits rose 30% year-on-year to 6.2 billion won, accounting for 43.4% of total sales.
Emro is an AI (artificial intelligence) software company that is strengthening its technology and product lineup. Recently, it has registered a patent in Japan using a machine learning model specialized in purchase and supply chain management, and is spurring to expand its customer base by introducing new software such as a 'smart price doctor' that predicts and analyzes the price of key materials based on AI, and a 'smart dashboard' that analyzes vast amounts of data and supports efficient decision making.
