[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] Doosan Enerbility has begun manufacturing main equipment for Shin Hanul Units 3 and 4. It is the first time in six years since 2017 that Doosan Enerbility has made a period machine.

Doosan Enerbility held a ceremony for the production of the cycle of Shin Hanul Units No. 3 and 4 at its headquarters in Changwon, South Gyeongsang Province, on the 15th, attended by Minister of Trade, Industry and Energy Lee Chang-yang and South Gyeongsang Province Governor Park Wan-soo.

The government originally planned to start construction in the first half of 2025, but is pushing ahead with the start of construction around next year to restore the ecosystem of nuclear power plants. Shinhanul Unit 3 is scheduled to be completed by 2032 and Unit 4 by 2033.
