[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Paul Lee] The Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI) signed a final contract with Malaysia's Ministry of National Defense on the 23rd to export 1.2 trillion won worth of FA-50 18s worth of scripture speculation.
The KAI announced that the final signing ceremony for the export of the FA-50 18 university was held at the international defense exhibition "LIMA 2023" in Langkawi, Malaysia, attended by defense ministers from both countries. The total amount is 920 million dollars, which is 1.2 trillion won.
KAI signed an FA-50 export agreement (LOA) with Malaysia's Defense Ministry in February this year and has been discussing details such as aircraft delivery and follow-up support for the past three months.
Malaysia plans to introduce a second 18 units of the same model as the FA-50, which could expand the volume to up to 36 units. If the second project is completed, the number of KT-1 and T-50 domestic aircraft exported by KAI to the world is expected to expand to a total of 240.
