Wemade, acquired an additional 30 billion won stake in Mad Engine, a Nightcrow developer

[Alpha Biz=(Chicago) Reporter Kim Jisun] Wemade has secured an additional stake in Mad Engine, a developer of massively multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPG) 'Night Crow'.
Wemade announced on the 30th that it will acquire an additional 9,358 shares, or 5% of Med Engine, for about 30 billion won. After acquiring the stock, Wemade's stake in Mad Engine will be 22.8%.
Mad Engine is a game developer founded by developers who made "V4" and "HIT" at Nexon in the past. "Night Crow," developed by Mad Engine and launched by Wemade last month, has been ranked No. 1 in sales in the domestic app market since its launch.
A WeMade official said, "It is part of 'value investment' for shared growth with S-level developers."
