The main point of the patent is that it can be electronically signed through avatars in virtual environments such as Metaverse based on the results of digital signatures carried out by the user's terminal. After proving its real world-like identity, it can perform all tasks that require authentication, including service purchases and financial transactions, within the metaverse.

As services using metaverse platforms are emerging across the industry, including the financial sector, Aton will start commercializing a dedicated authentication security solution with the acquisition of the patent. It plans to actively create new business opportunities related to certification security throughout the Metaverse industry, including the financial sector.

Metaverse was selected as a major trend to lead the ICT industry at CES 2023, the world's largest consumer electronics fair in Las Vegas this year.
